Our Story

Moskehtu Consulting, LLC is a Native American-owned cultural and heritage preservation firm WBENC and WOSB certified whose purpose is to contribute to the social and environmental competence of our clients and partners by enhancing their understanding of the natural world. We offer a wide variety of consultant services that include ecological and cultural tourism, sustainability consulting, environmental education, cultural competency and sensitivity workshops, Indigenous consumer lifestyle marketing, tribal community engagement strategy, the design and implementation of cultural programs, and developing effective social impact campaign strategies. Our team of consultants comprises highly capable Indigenous people with the academic know-how and in-depth experience and understanding of Native American procedures, policy, protocol, and culturally sustainable living.

Our organization recognizes that in as much as Indigenous people make up only 2.5% of the world population, they control over 25% of the world’s land surface and support approximately 80% of its biodiversity. Additionally, their traditions encourage them to be the medicine of the world and all that is in it, making them an essential resource in the restoration and preservation of the earth’s well-being. Moskehtu Consulting, therefore, seeks to build relationships between these people and various private and public entities while applying ITEK (indigenous traditional knowledge) combined with its understanding of the modern world to interrupt the blockage caused by historic events such as colonization and foster the economic, scientific, social, and technical advancement of society.
